i have just discovered, via booooooom, that two people: lenka + michael, wanted to write everyone in the world letters. this blog, mysterious letters, is a compilation of letters people received. i think it is a great idea, receiving a mysterious letter from a stranger (or better yet, a friend…ahem) would make my day!

its finally not disgustingly hot outside! i’m working on editing some apartment pictures and will upload them soon. i need to start working on my thesis but to avoid a large scale panic attack, i read this (amazing) book called special topics in calamity physics by marisha pessl. it was brilliant brilliant brilliant and i cant wait to read more of her work!

its been a while! i am now all moved into a beautiful apartment in an old victorian in downtown portland (pictures soon) but for now, here is something adorable:
